Bluebear Design Group provides a comprehensive service in Web site and multimedia design and development in Europe, US and Australia.
Bluebear has 17 years in Web development and design experience. Bluebear has developed sites as small as a page up to 10,000 pages with all the preparatory work, including competitive analysis, dynamically generated database content, colour theory, user-analysis (incorporating online questionnaires), click streams (user behaviour analysis ) and of course HTML and site design. Their multimedia design has included promotional software CDs, online demonstrations, and in store video. Our client testimonials will indicate their satisfaction with our work.

What's in a name anyway?
Bluebear is based on the polar bear. It stems from Peter's respect for the great animal and the logo is a stylised version of a real polar bear print. Yes, polar bears do have five toes and their paws are shaped like the logo.
Some considerable time and effort was also spent on the company name.
blue (from colour theory) trust, conservation, security, technology, cleanliness, order, strength. It also is the safest global colour and represents immortality and holiness in some cultures.
bear (apart from the animal) - (verb) support, sustain without yeilding, responsibility, fit or worthy, give birth to, remain firm under pressure.
The stong double 'B' sound in the pronounciation made from a colour followed by a noun created the word. The rest has been left to our reputation.
We have clients we have not met in person and deal with companies all over the globe. We passed through the dot com bubble burst in 2001 (the IT industry needed a good clean out anyway) and are hoping to strive further and farther with the help of wonderful clients, partners and affiliations.

Peter Williams

Owner and Founder
Peter has been involved with the internet since it's infancy, involved in both the design and coding since 1994.
He extended his portfolio into Flash multimedia in 1997 and video in 2000. After several onshore successes he moved to mainland Europe for 5 years to gain valuable international experience and continued to work with his Australian clients remotely. This opportunity also enabled him to establishing himself with European and United States clients and technology.
In 2004 he moved back to Brisbane, Australia.
He gained his CAPM in 2008 (Certified Associate in Project Management), SSBB (Six Sigma Black Belt) in process design and his PMP (Project Management Professional) in 2010. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (Queensland Chapter) and is a member of Mensa Australia.
